When I moved to Albuquerque for a job at Sandia National Labs, I began to look at master’s programs. I had never taken an online class before. However, I choose the MS Electrical Engineering - Space Systems Engineering at UNM because it was offered as an online program that I could take while working full time. I would recommend this program to others who are working full time or have other full-time commitments. I had my first child while in the Space Systems Engineering program. I’m glad I had the flexibility to study and learn when it fit my schedule.

I thoroughly enjoyed the online OILS program. I took courses that interested me, and many of the skills I had gained have already been applied to my work. I loved completing this program online: UNM’s online program allowed me to work full-time while attending school. During my time taking classes, I had two kids. I am very fortunate that I was able to continue going to school with little time off. I am already planning on returning back for a second graduate degree!
